Ok, I have to finally ask.  

 

When I originally started to work with the site plan and grading, I had a hard time because I would change the shot points but it wouldn't change my grade until I started to select Property instead of Building Outline. What does changing Building Outline really do and why isn't Property the principle active one since this is really what controls your grade?

The shot points appear on the polygon you add them to ... if you snap them to the edge of BUILDING OUTLINE polygon then they appear there - Since the edge of the PROPERTY polygon is not in that location. I drop my shot points on the property close to the building. That way they show on the property, and then I relocate them to suit.
