I'm looking for a Gothic style of window... and can't find anything.  Anyone know if softplan has one of those to work with?

If you're looking for something like this, then no, there's no standard, but you can make one quickly enough.

is that done with a polygon opening shape?  Whenever I have used that method I get a segmented opening, and not a true arc.

I have never mastered drawing openings with lines and shapes... Maybe today is the day, can you point me in the right direction?

sounds like a good project for friday fundamentals.  I can create elevation openings then openings but not that great at it.  Garage door styles are opening up a lot in my area so i find myself creating bunches of these.

Brad, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

The "lancet" (Gothic) window is drawn completely with lines and arcs, and completed as per this tutorial ... http://softplan.com/...indows-tutorial

You're right about the arcs though sometimes the dotted line for the glazing seems to create some segmenting in the arc. At least I'm assuming it's the glazing lines.
