Good Morning,

 

I am looking to add some color to a linework elevation with linework hatch patterns showing through the color.  Attached is as close as I can get so far.  To get this I drew a polygon over the roof, and gave the polygon a fill color with opacity.  Not a perfect solution, but workable, except the color shows up with a net pattern of solid color on top of the more shaded red.  Is there a better way to do this, or a way to eliminate the net pattern in the polygon fill?

I think my issue may be with CutePDF Writer.  When I export to PDF from softplan, the shading does not have the "netting" effect.  I also realized you can hatch a solid color and a pattern in the same space.
Has anyone else noticed that with CutePDF writer?

I've noticed a difference between different Pdf writers before. The default Pdf settings for Softplan is 600 dpi. Is that the same setting you have it set for Cute Pdf?

The easiest way to shade with a colour is to use a shade break and a texture (edit to shade paint), and then change the texture to DISPLAY COLOUR, and select your preferred colour - or use specific coloured textures if you have them.

I cannot duplicate the "netting" with Cute PDF.
