I need to do a vaulted ceiling and just can not figure it out. I am designing a home with a 9'4 plate height and flat ceilings except for a vaulted ceiling in the living/kitchen area. The vault starts from the back wall of the house and slopes up 2.25 pitch toward the center of the home and then vertically drops to a 9'4 ceiling.

Jonathan the starting lower edge at the 9'-4" height would be a 2.25 pitch hip.

The two sides a gable and the part that intersects with

the 9'-4" flat ceiling would be set at intersect/vertical and

if a wall is available reference it if not check the ignore wall

box. adjust the ceiling offset to the 9'-4"
