What do i change while editing the opening to show the jamb as stone properly.

in plan view i'm currently using polygon solid to fix the issue.  also, can't hatch a polygon solid...(another problem) so i used paint.

A few releases ago i thought i'd seen something where siding material would wrap jambs if the siding material was stucco.

Issues with exterior material at openings has been reported before but no solution yet.

3D Model, ..

Try 'Copy Surface' - 'Paste Surface'

Edit:  .. not so good if you've widened the opening from beyond default width .. distorts the texture you're pasting

Also, the problem is when you have a different material for the Above Exterior Trim, the sides take on that finish. If you have a precast trim above with stone on the wall, the opening returns will be precast. If you use the Copy Surface for the sides, it will also change the top to stone.

Didn't think of that, .. perhaps Softplan could create such openings so the trim is independent

yes, i think the texture will be applied to all the jambs i have on the plan.  The stone jamb you're showing is very common, i'm surprised its not possible with a radio button setting or something already.
