Being a builder, we have standards predefined for most items, some based on the model and elevation chosen.
For the exterior selections, I programmed on Excel a selection sheet with drop list so the clients can select with the sales rep the applicable items from predefined lists.
For electrical items, they meet with the electrical contractor or the sales rep supplies a written request.
The rest of the changes are done on forms with the sales rep. All items are confirmed on work orders programmed in Excel.
