How are people dealing with beamed ceilings/coffered ceilings or trey ceilings when it comes to having it represented correctly in Soft List?  I have created a boxed beam in the beam section to use as a coffered but it does not terminate at the interior of the wall but instead extends to the outside of the stud.  I was thinking of using a bulkhead but it seams that wont show correctly in the material list.

jeff,

a molding from the interior mode won't attach

to the side of a beam,

you have to create a custom beam with a wall definition.

than you can easily place moldings on the sides of all

the "wall beams" that form a square/rectangle with auto trace.

note,  the rooms walls will act as one of the 4 beams

or

you can place a "wall beam" at perimeter of the room.

NOTE: make sure you offset the wall beams so their

tops are offset to the tops of the other walls.

Thanks Randy.  I tried doing that but I created it in beam mode instead of wall.  New wall definition up next :-)
