Is it possible to retrieve a drawing back into softplan that was exported to a PDF and emailed to a customer? I no longer have the drawing in softplan but the customer emailed it back to me.

Dennis, unless I am uniformed about this, pdf is a printable file and does not contain the softplan info you are looking for.  Have you tried looking into your recovery files?

Dennis, try a program called Recuva.  If the file(s) is still on you computer and haven't been written over, it's a good chance it can recover it.

Softplan creates numerous backups at regular intervals ... How did you manage to lose it?

Keith is correct.  There should be a bunch of backups of each drawing within the recovery directory of your specific project folder.
