In my 3D models the interior walls and sheetrock doesn't show up.  Also the sheetrock on the exterior walls doesn't show up.  That means you see the exterior wall surface such as brick thru all of the windows.  How do I make the sheetrock show up in my Model so that I don't have to keep answering the question "why are the interior walls made of brick?"

while in 3d, review your materials, are they checked to display?

You may also want to check that you are not in elevation mode. Interior walls do not show up in elevation 3D.

ya, i learned something similar while adding a main house stair as a deck stair.  It didn't show in elevation views.

Okay, didn't correctly state my problem in the OP.

I am in elevation mode but what I want to show up is the interior sheetrock of my Exterior wall.  The brick shows up thru the window and I would rather it did not.  Anything to fix that other than making the glass opaque?

There is no way that I know of to get Sheetrock to show in elevation mode. You could change the opacity of the glass so you can’t see through and or change the color. Or perhaps draw a plane behind the window, I’m not sure if that will show or not. I’ve never tried it.

Thanks, I'm going to try the opaque glass.  Am I the only one that this bothers?  The look is not very professional.

Why are you using elevations in 3D?  If you are creating the elevations for the sheets check out Keith's thread here http://softplan.com/...paint-tutorial/ on how he does it.

I use them to show customers.  Also the city wants color art work on commercial buildings and they will not accept perspectives.

Interior walls don't extract in elevations. However, if you draw a section line on the outside of the building
and generate the section the interiors will extract.
