Hi all,

Any info on how to do a wall similar to the attached entrance gates?  I've played around with solids, deflection, shapes, etc. but can't figure out how to "fill in" the empty space in my screenshot or create the curve on  top.

Curious if anyone has ever run into these or something similar before.  I can draw them manually in 2D when doing elevations but would really like to show them in 3D for some upcoming designs.

Thanks as always,

You can create the shape using 3D polygons.  It will be laying flat on it's side.  Export it to DWG then bring create a new symbol.  You can then pick the proper orientation when creating the symbol.

Or, just use SketchUp. Much Faster.

Thanks guys.  Will look into these options.  I'm a long time AutoCAD user in 2D and 3D, so I may just scratch one up and bring in that way.  Was just hoping there was a way to do this all within SP to control the shape/radius in real-time as wall height and width varies vs. going in and out of SP.

Much faster assuming that you know how to use SketchUp anyway!
