Hello,

I have some Building Options set to FADE. However, when I print they are way too light. Any way to adjust the amount of fade that is applied?  I export to a PDF and then print from the PDF. I'm printing on a HP DesignJet T120.

Thanks!

solved.

I found a previous post from Keith A. using pens. Set it up and it works great.

However, if there is a way to adjust the fade I would sure like to know.

An adjustable fade control like Autocad would be great.

not exactly sure what you mean by inter. but if it is and entity like a box or board end you need to adjust both the outline and the texture. adjust in the edit box for the entity.

Ron, you should be able to change the line to BLACK and thicken them up in MODE OPTIONS.

Using pen weights may be the best option. Then set a layer to that pen weight instead of fade. I have section drawings and overlay drawings set with the typical layers all adjusted for pen weights so the things I commonly want lighter and darker are all set. I save that section as a "master" drawing and then copy and paste the created section into that drawing. Sometimes I have to adjust because something doesn't look right or a new drawing item creates a layer I haven't had before, but mostly it just works. It takes a bit to set up initially, but works well for the limitations we have.
