Softplan uploads to rendered video file to YouTube quickly and efficiently.
Very handy, I do these simple video files on most of my homes to give the client/builder a better feel for things rather then looking a a 2d set of plans. I use the 3dconnection mouse for fluid movements.

I've eyed that 3D mouse for awhile, but just haven't mad the plunge yet.....
I agree about the ease of video creation. Here is one I did last year:

I liked the two different interiors, and after watching both I like B&W walk. I wonder how many customers get hung up on colors and materials, I know mine do.

Have you any idea how many times I've wanted to say "I don't care what the colour is." ... It seems that the more information you give the customers, the more they want to change things round. To be fair though I have found that customers can visualize things better if they are close to the colours that they expect to see.

I use the 3D videos extensively, more for exterior but occasionally for interior work.
For interior fly-throughs I don't give the clients any extra visual options like finishes, colours, etc. I advise them it is only to get an idea of the space.
I have the 3D connexion mouse but I find that I can achieve much smoother videos using keyframes than I can with recording with the connexion mouse.
As an example, here is an interior for a renovation & addition I did recently just to give my clients an idea of the interior space they would have when walls are removed and a new stairs added.
