How do I transfer my drawings from one computer to another?  Softplan is all set up but can't figure out how to transfer.  thanks

Unless your plans are on the Cloud or something like Dropbox, you could link both computers to copy or transfer or copy plans on USB key

Cloud server or USB thumb drive will work but may take awhile.  My SP jobs directory is 74.1 GB and 509k files.  Yank the hard drive and attache to the new PC or get an external drive for the transfer.

This is just a personal preference because I do not use the SoftPlan Cloud as we have GBs of files as well. I use a NAS to store my files on and it is backed up just in case to another server at my house. So this way it does not matter when we get a new computer. I just plug into the network and install SoftPlan and I can begin working on drawings without transferring any files.

I always suggest no matter what method is used, to backup all your settings through archive AND to backup all your projects subdirectory to a separate place like a external harddrive or create a directory called "spbackup&date".  This is too easy and if something happens you always have an undamaged backup.
