Quick tip...when setting up grade i use roof plane to help "fill-in" areas where on-site it would be back-filled.

Your ability to increase your clients confidence and excitement will be greatly improved.  Im not saying you cant do it with softplan (i did for years)...hence the use of "improved".

Quick tip.

I use the Diamond Kote Siding for most of my renderings.

https://diamondkotesiding.com/siding/

The colors are attached for easy download. (or message me and ill email to you)

I use instant eyedropper to match the color.  the download is below here:

http://instant-eyedropper.com/

To learn more about matching colors in lumion go here:

https://www.youtube....deRaEa_Q&t=342s

See attachment for eyedropper settings.

Make sure the color you are matching with eyedropper is on the primary display.

play 4.jpg Tax man says I need to buy something. Got the 14 day trail of Lumion today. First import and render in 35 minutes. I think I know what I'm going to buy.

Nice work Greg! Like Allen, I think Lumion is a great investment for presenting work to prospective homeowners. Lumion has been pretty good with rolling out new features here lately as well, so you timing is perfect! Happy Rendering!

Whenever i put pics on here i use 1920x1080....most of the time they fit unless my effect stack is significant.

All,

We are looking into Twinmotion as well. It looks more intuitive than Lumion and they are owned by Unreal Engine, so the VR options are more advanced.

If you Tweak the Softplan options a little bit, you can get better looking Rendering. We don't bother with the horizon and background, that can make it look cheesy. Here are a few examples of what Softplan can do..

The vr is not for me....i mirror my desktop onto a 65 inch TV and walk all my customers through that way....i dont have to mess around with cleaning headsets or tripping over cables (or charging batteries)....Most of my walk throughs last a couple hours so everyone is able to see everything all the time and we play with furniture, wall colors, minor changes, and so one.  Everyone is always blown away by BOTH Softplan and Lumion experiences........  and Lumion has options for 360 panoramas that can be used in Oculus go and other vr sets.

I would be more than willing to do the Lumion version.
