What is the best way to add general notes, not in the title block, to a plan set that that will used each time regardless of project type?

Have more than one title block drawing with each containing your notes and details for that specific sheet.

I don't think you meant title block drawing as it defeats the purpose of using one title block drawing for all sheets.

Consider creating multiple note drawings that can be place on the appropriate drawings sheet along with drawings, details etc.

Matt.

Good morning.

It may be old school, but I keep my general notes, (basement, slab, crawl, floor plan, elevations) in my template borders.

When creating a new plan set they are always there.

I have a set of .spd "drawing" files that are part of my plan set template and come into every project. They are already placed on plan set sheets - no work necessary.

If you are not using plan set templates, I suggest you take a look a that feature. It is a real time saver.

Never do the same work twice. Set up your planset with your general notes, typical details, etc. And then save it all in a template...

Been doing it this way since mankind discovered dirt.
