I am working on an addition for a house and the customer wants to put a 16' garage door in the living space to open up to the outdoor space. When I put the garage door in, it automatically swings to the interior of the house - how do I change that.

Thank you.

Edit the door and change the "U" for up to "N" for no.

This will delete the auto swing lines.

You can then draw lines if you need them.

Just a thought, use a vertical roll-up coil door. Here is a link to a residential style....note in the last photo the coil is hidden above the ceiling.

Why would you want to change that? What is the door you're putting in? and where do you expect it to swing?

I imagine his customer wants it to swing out instead of that big honking door swinging taking up all the floor space.  I've used a door similar to what Steve and Carla show.
