I discovered a neat trick...just passing it along:

On recent project I am working on, due to an existing location of the septic holding tank, the new addition had to be located at an odd angle... so I discovered that to turn the cursor to align with this a NEGATIVE  angle was required to tilt the cursor axis to align properly....Just passing this along...never tried a negative angle....Options, Cursor options, cursor angle, put the check mark in the box and input the desired offset angle...and in my case a negative....

Just to clarify...  With regard to cursor angle it is not necessary to enter negative values.

Looking at the image below, a negative cursor angle of 20° (blue) is the equivalent of a positive angle of 340° (brown), and additionally equivalent to a positive angle of 70° (red) since the cursor has two legs.  In fact, if you open the Cursor Options dialog again you will see a positive value rather than the negative value you entered.

Tip: If an angled object is already on the drawing, instead of entering a cursor angle you can select Pick Cursor Axis from the Cursor Options dialog to match the cursor angle to the angle of the object (by clicking on that object).
