I am trying to create a multi-floor roof with dormers.  For some reason I cannot see the dormer walls while in roof mode. There is a main gable dormer where I can see the walls that have the same properties as the dormer walls.   I have examined the walls and cannot find anything that distinguishes them from the gable walls.  Dormer wall locations are clouded in roof mode plan.  Note: I have sent this into SP tech support yesterday.  However, they have not gotten back to me yet (perhaps closed for Good Friday?)

Make sure the dormer walls are defined as bearing.

 

Also I've seen issues where the walls generate as white (on a white background) ... try adjusting their height to change the generated colour, and then editing them back to the original height.

That is odd Edward. I do know Tech Support is closed today for Good Friday.

Bearing is checked.  They are the same walls as the adjacent front gable - which can be seen in the roof plan. I have tried adjusting up and down I can see them in the model, but not in roof mode!

SOLVED!  Had the dormer walls drawn on a layer that was turned off!  UGH!  How obvious!
