Anyone dealing with Lag issues, fatal error crash issues, or saving a previous drawing while opening an existing drawing please activate the 3D preview in drawing mode.  See attached.

On my PC lag has gone down and fatal crashes when bouncing from one drawing to another have stopped.

They are working on a fix.  But for the meantime activate the window.

This is a window i typically do not use.  So if you use it do not stop.

The development team worked hard to solve your page fault issue. I simply asked for the files. They were only able to find the issue through the tickets that you provided Allen.

Thank you for your cooperation.

I'm not sure that we expected a noticeable speed increase, but if that is the case that's great news.

Have a great weekend.

No change on my end.  Worth a try, but my lag is still driving me nuts

I NEVER EVER use the 3D preview, and ALWAYS have the model open on a second monitor.

I have noticed the 3D regen in SP 2020 is slower than 2018.

I have experienced an enormous amount of crashing and sometimes for no apparent reason with 2020. I like 2020 so much better that I have just lived with the crashes. Fairly certain it is not caused by my system or lack of resources.

Anthony please check that you are running the latest version of 2020.

From our crash data it appears you are running 2020.1.5.

The current release is 2020.2.1.

I suspect you will find the current version works much better for you.
