Does "copy to softplan clipboard" work across drawings in the same project or JUST in a single drawing"

I am trying to copy a front wall I drew in fp1 into pf2 of the same project and it's not working.

I use that command among different projects and it works just fine. You might have to extend the box you draw around that wall

You can also use Ctrl select and highlight what you want to copy to the clipboard. It is sometimes easier than drawing a box around everything you want.

Sometimes the box needs to be much larger than what you think when selecting, especially if there's text involved.

I believe I have even used it to copy from a project in 2018 to a 2020 project
