Please tell me how to model these faux beams.  I understand I can use beams for the diagonals.  I am not sure what to do for the wood arch part.

Or SketchUp, if you don't get good results with deflection.

Or solid polygons and create a 3D of the assembly, then save and rotate as a symbol (which, in my opinion, is way more work than SketchUp).
