I have a customer that wants to look at changing the look of their existing home.  I have recreated the exterior of the house.  The current exterior is all stucco.  The customer would like to see parts of the wall with brick, ship lap siding, and maybe stone.  The problem I have is that when I attempt to change one wall the whole house changes siding, brick etc.  Is there a way for 3D purposes to just make a section of a wall change texture?

Would it work if you just changed the wall definition of the particular wall you want to change?

If you need sections of wall to be different exterior materials you have to break the wall into seperate sections and create new wall definitions.  Then edit the wall sections to be the wall type that has the material needed.

Jeffery we have found the easiest way, unless you absolutely have to have a full 3D rendering,

would be to generate and clean up the 2D Elevations and use the paints to add and subtract a

variety of textures and colors for the customer to view. This is quick and easy with the customer

their to view the changes.

I've used wallpaper on the exterior of the wall- it seems to work well.
