Well, this old dog learned a new trick today....when editing a diminision, I noticed that text could be used in lieu of numbers....example...I have an area that is to be designed by a independent structural enginer for a partial roof structure for a Timber Frame and thus I made note of this by placing text on the diminision line betweeen the diminision extension lines that delinated this area on the roof plan...the text reads" Timber Frame Structure this area"...and then a detail noted expanding on the area, design responsibities etc and then used a note arrow to the diminision text.
