Hi all, very new to Softplan, this is my first query.

I have drawn a basic plan, complete with dimensions. I then added a deck.  The deck is not dimensioned, and the existing dimensions have not moved to the outside of the deck.  How do I rectify this please?

Terry,

Click on Move and make sure attach is highlighted on your toolbar and click on each dimension line at the bottom of your dimension image you uploaded and move each dimension string to the left of your deck. Some of the other members may have some different idea's.

Click on the Move Block and draw a box around the dimensions you want to move then move them to the outside of the deck.

If you are using Auto Dimension, just clicking on Auto Dimension again might bring it outside of the Deck. Usually my Auto Dimensions move outside of the Deck but do not dimension the Deck itself.
