Remember a few patches ago when you inserted Electrical symbols they would jump?

They fixed it in a patch, but now plumbing fixtures are doing it.... at least for me they are.

Do you have any specifics as to which symbol you are drawing Jon? The Electrical issue was with symbols that were inserted from their center such as a ceiling fan.

If you can provide a ticket with the project and an example of which symbol to draw we can certainly take a look.

The sinks I have tested seem fine.

I'll need specific symbol names Jon in order to reproduce the issue and report the findings if there is something that needs to be addressed. Without that we have nothing to go on.

Are these symbols that you created or symbols that shipped with the program? Sinks generally insert from the back edge and will locate to a wall if one is near.

Since you don't have plus, please send an email to support@softplantech.com with a drawing or drawings attached that exhibit the issue.

Today it's been the ranges, and range hoods doing it.

Please send info to support@softplantech.com with your key number. Thanks Jon.

Thanks Jon. Those three draw as expected for me.

Still looking for a drawing to get the context of the issue. We're interested to see if there are wall intersections or other items near the insertion point that they are bumping into.

I removed the range and hood and added them back to the drawing. The space between the cabinets is 30.125" so the range draws tight to one cabinet and has a 1/8" gap on the other. When added, they sit 1/2" away from the stud to allow for the drywall. Your drawing had them moved back to the stud.

Did they position at the stud face when drawn or did you move them? Is that the 'jump' that you are referring to or is there something that we are missing?

When drawing a sink over a cabinet you will experience some lateral movement as the sink tries to center within a cabinet.
