On all of my remodels I include "FIELD VERIFY ALL EXISTING DIMENSIONS" under "Scale 1/4" = 1'-0".

Presently this must be done with notes thus text size, font, etc. may or may not match the "Scale 1/4" = 1'-0" text size, font, etc.

I do underline it as well.
