Good Afternoon.

I hope I am asking this in the correct area. My company builds box beams with laminated chords, webbing system & plywood. We were looking for a design program that would give us our point loads, by drawing the details & being able to adjust for different applications on the drawing itself & see the results. We know that Solid Works would do what we need, but it is way to much program for what we do!

We would be grateful for any suggestions you may have for us too research... Please email any suggestions to the email below...

Thank-You for your time!!  :)

Dee

I do all my load designs with Forte from Weyerhaeuser. Note sure if this is any help to you.

Hello Dee,

We use Strucalc engineering program. Many combinations and loadings available

for all regions as well as material types. Several instructional videos along with the

program. Also allows printing of all structural calcs and diagram showing load bearing.
