How do change the default for exterior trim to be "on" as opposed to "off"?

Go to system options, material dimensions, opening trim options and set it to whatever you want...

Allen,

I think you have to go to the openings in your library and put a check mark to include exterior trim.

Change one window to have trim and "Repeat Edit" or "Repeat Edit Box". Goes pretty quick to change a whole house.

^ The only downside I've found with that, is it applied the trim to your exterior doors as well, and if you have a specific bottom trim, it will apply it to doors, and then

your softlist count will be wrong, and it will look funny in elevation view.

I usually insert and fix one window, then just copy that window each time I need another one.

Im good there Phil.  I was referring to my library of windows that are lacking exterior trim.....Going in and editing each one.  So that when i bring them in it is already applied.
