First of all, is this the appropriate forum for Newbie questions?  I'm just getting started with Softplan 2020 and Softplan in general.  I can see the need for a lot of questions over the next couple of months and don't want to hog all the attention of this forum.

Now, I have lost the 3D View window in the bottom left corner of my Drawing Screen and need help getting it back.

Also, I have lost the 3D Textured tab in the tab group and need help getting it back.  It was there once now it's gone.

And finally, when I had finished all my exterior walls and interior walls and pressed the 3D textured tab, all I got was a nice picture of sky.  Any ideas what went wrong?

I used to think I was reasonably competent with DataCAD and Sketchup but this software has me feeling like a rookie all over again.

Thanks,

Dale

Dale, this is the appropriate forum for questions, ask away we all learn from each other.

For the 3D window go to window along the top , click on it and select the 3D window option

and your 3D View should appear lower left.

If all you are seeing is sky in 3D you may not have placed your drawings in the model, all the

way on top of navigation window. As you place them be sure they are stacked in the order you

would build them, ie; basement, main floor, second floor etc.

The 3D view should be WINDOW > 3D VIEW (or some such) I never use it ...

To get the 3D Textured tab, all you have to do is open a 3D textured model view.

If all you have is sky, make sure your relevant plans are in the model stack. You can right click them and ADD TO MODEL or you can drag them into the model at the top of the navigation window.
