Is there a way to create trapezoids that follow the ceiling line, not the roof line? House has 8:12 roof pitch with traps that are 4:12.

Yes, Under the Miscellaneous tab, there is a radio button to select either SLOPE TO WALL or SLOPE TO CEILING
