Well, after last week's Friday fundamentals, I decided I needed to upgrade to Softplan+

 

Talked to the boss about it, and he really liked the idea of being able to pull in topo data from Google Earth as much as I did so,

he said go for it!! 

 

Can't wait to get it rolling.

If you upgrade Softplan regularly, then PLUS is a no-brainer ...

We've been updating every 2 years. But it still works out to be the same mathematically. 

 

Only thing so far, is I'm having trouble getting the google maps data to import on my site plan. Everything works just like

in last friday's video, until I get to the point where I import map data. Nothing happens.

I had the same issue when I tried.  got sidetracked but never got back to it.

It started working that afternoon. Not sure what changed. 

 

 

I'm not as impressed with reView though as I had hoped. Making notes on the plan isn't very easy.
