Is there a function to match properties of a paint hatch?

Let's say I paint a wall in 2D with 8" siding hatch then modify it a little.

Later on I go back and add more 8" siding hatch to another part of the house in that view, it would be nice to

be able to match the new with the old with the click of a button...

Right click on the modified paint pattern and click on the 'draw select' option then select the area you want to paint.

If you still have the default keyboard shortcuts, you can just hit the "S" key, click on the existing paint, and then click on the new area you want to paint.

I use the "U" which in my mind means "use this"

This is an awesome tool which I use a LOT !

Works on everything including openings.

Mine's "S" although I wasn't aware that was the original default ... I've mapped the keyboard so that EVERY key does something (I've even got a few shifted functions), but some are used so seldom, to be honest I've forgotten what they are. My "U" key is EDIT.
