I have managed to un-dock my 3D View Window from the Navigation Window.  No matter how and where I drag the 3d Window, it will not reattach to the Navigation Window.

Searched the internet, Forum, Softplan Help, and the book but no answer.

Phoned SoftPlan tech support 5 hours ago but, surprise, they are "experiencing an unusually high number of calls" so I left a message.  No return call and now they are closed for the day.

So, back to the Forum for help.  Lucky for me you folks are out there.  Thanks.

I hate to keep bothering the Forum for these simple questions.  If there is another place I can search where other newbies have asked the simple questions, I would appreciate a point in the right direction.

'right' click on the top "bar" part of it and you should be able to tell it to dock

Thanks for the hint, Gary

I now have all three windows floating (Navigation, 3d view and 3d camera) , but when I use the docking aids to dock them, they want to do dock side by each taking up too much of my drawing screen.

What I hope to achieve is have them dock vertically on the left side of the screen, similar to the arrangement that Softplan shipped with.

If you go to the Window Menu —> Reset Layout should put it back.

Then Andy's suggestion above should work.
