Can't edit the pen settings to be less than .10 .... I guess that's a softplan setting I can't change?

Really need something even lighter than that for a hatch pattern that's got real tight lines. Any Idea's?

Jon,

Go into Configure Pen Styles and change the pen you want. Change it at the System Level then, reset the Project then Drawing Level.  When you type it in enter it as 0.01, I tried not entering the 0 before the decimal point and it wouldn't change. Not sure how small you can go.

I think Henry is on the right track. If you set up colour pens, they will print in varying densities of black when you set your printer driver to Gray Scale and not colour. My suggestion would be to create a new drawing and draw a line on it 2" thick, offset it 15 times so you have 16 lines in total. Set up your Pen Definitions to be different colours and then edit the lines to match those colours. Print with Gray Scale selected and they should print out in varying densities of black.

Just changing the color doesn't work.... It can be any color but if the pen weight is still high, color wont matter.

I was able to edit it under system settings, thanks for that tip.

*edit* Worked great!
