The "Add Drywall" to "Hole" in a wood truss floor system with "Sill Plate" does not account for the "Sill Plate" and leaves a gap.

Anyone else?

Is there a reason you're using a sill plate on the second story? In my area the second story trusses bear directly on the first floor walls.

Sill is on top of first floor wall under second floor system.

First floor is block. Engineer wants it that way.

Tom you may be able to edit the plate definition and add sheetrock inside

or create a wall that is a plate with sheetrock inside and outside being whatever

finish material you are using and replace the sill plate with the new wall.
