Looking for detail ideas/solutions for a 9' poured walkout foundation wall where the customer wants 3 foot high exterior brick and siding above it to match up with the first story above the foundation wall. The home is being built in a rural area according to IBC 2015. The inside of the poured basement walls are unfinished concrete, each exterior end of the poured wall will have retaining walls for the walkout grade change, and my concerns are code compliance on the walkout wall and lining up siding on a poured wall to siding above on the framed structure.
