Brick Lattice Work - 3D Model

Any idea's on how to make a solid show as brick lattice work with just surface editing?

 

Probably no easy solution here.

Use a texture with a transparent part? Look at the way SP has their wood lattice or tree billboards set up? There used to be some sample textures with a color set as transparent, but looks like the new ones are just clear backgrounds around the desired textures. Can't remember if it is a "green screen" color or what that can be set as transparent within a texture.

I can create a transparent brick lattice texture for you, if you let me know exactly what you need it to show. A sketch of what you need would be good ...

Might be able to get something to work with vertical profiles in a wall definition as well.
