Great news! The newest patch now defaults to 1/4" scale when adding drawings to a Planset page.

Thanks SoftPlan!

Release: 2020.2.6
Feature: Default Planset Scale
Description: If the space available on a planset page will allow for an inserted drawing 1/4 inch scale, the drawing will now be inserted at 1/4 inch. It will use 1/4 regardless of whether a larger scale will fit.

With this version, we are no longer able to double click on the SPP file in windows explorer to open the project. It opens softplan but goes directly to the start page.

Anyone know of a way to have it open the project? It worked great before this patch.

That still works for me so it must be fixable, just don't know how.

Dan, I agree! I am not enjoying that I cannot just click on the SPP file I want to open from within its project folder. I have worked on revisions for 4 separate projects just today and having to open softplan, then find the project to open is super annoying!!

I agree with Dan and Marcie, this is super annoying.  We have nine people that work in the office and none of us can open the spp file and this is the way we have always done it here.  I think this needs to be reverted back to being able to open the spp file the way it was.

And if I remember correctly Softplan has always recommended not opening a project through windows explorer instead opening up Softplan first and then a project. "Something" behind the scenes.

We are aware of the issue with opening projects from outside of SoftPlan and we are working on a solution. The issue appears to occur when there are spaces anywhere in the file path and was introduced in an attempt to remedy an issue where project names were being shortened and duplicates were being saved to the cloud.

Until the issue is resolved, we suggest that you open your files from the 'File- Open' dialog within SoftPlan.

The 2020.2.6 Patch was re-released with a fix for the double click issue when opening files from outside of SoftPlan.

If you already had 2020.2.6 installed you should be prompted to install it again.
