When drawing in say a fold back set of stairs and I need landings to be unequal sizes..   So I have to draw landing in separate.

What is the easiest way to set the landing height correct (with having to do math and account for 4" of basement floor, and landing joist, subfloor, ect...   It would be nice if we could simple have the landing snap to our stair height..

Or if we draw in a landing..  it then becomes part of the stairs..   meaning it sets itself automatically in height if for some reason the overall rise height changes.   So homeowner changes to 9ft pour walls or even if we have to go from 2x10 to 2x12 floor system..

Just like the foldback or straight stairs, ect..  you can enter in an overall rise height and the risers on each step adjusts..

It would be nice if a drawn in landing could become part of the stairs when you do a clean up and it would adjust...

Any suggestions??

Use the regular fold-back stair to get the floor to floor geometry correct, then explode the fold-back, the plan shape and size of the landing can then be modified without changing the vertical position.
