Hello - I've been designing my own house and started with a bought set of plans from online. I've made many changes including an entire new roof due to my HOA committee design guides of "no hip roofs". I'm now needing to supply a site plan along with the plan set. I imported in the surveyor's AutoCad drawing that shows the topo lines every 2' (per design guide), all trees over 6" in diameter (design guide) and placed the house outline on the topo/survey. Also showed septic and repair and well.
When the HOA external architect reviewed the plans, he noted that more detail was needed on the site plan such as grading, drainage and retaining walls (no retaining walls needed). Would anyone be willing to share examples of a site plan and the "normal" elements that would be found on them?
