I am using Roofing B as paint pattern on Front Elev. drawings.

I want to give it a light color just to make drawing look better on plans and Brochure.

Can someone tell what the process is.

For some reason I can't even get my title block to print in color anymore.

I'm sure its something simple I've undone or forgot to do.

Thanks for your help.

Bobby, Under paint, same location you found the shingles, choose a color

to paint the roof, edit the color and adjust the opacity to desired look.

Thanks Steve and Carla

I am using version 2018.

Under paint I do not have the option that I can see to choose colors.

I can adjust the colors and pens from the drawing to get the effect I want.

I figured out last night to check the box to use screen colors from the print menu.

That gets me what I want.

I guess I will have to play around with pen and color settings and save to system options.

Bobby, In 2018 under the paint drop down choose solid and apply the color over the shingles and adjust opacity

Thanks, having the two colors gives a better effect than adjusting just the shingles.

Another option when selecting paint is to choose 'image'.
You select the material image from within your 3D/textures folder and adjust the opacity accordingly.
(screenshot example attached - the opacity was set to 20)

I guess it depends on the look you're trying to achieve. :)
