Is anyone else having system stabilizing issues?  every time I try to place a symbol, my system crashes.  Also, when I create a new symbol it is solid black, I am curious if this is a what other people are experiencing.

Stacey you will want to be sure all systems and video cards have current updates.

I haven't had any crashing issues... 

 

As far as the symbols being black,

 

Go to file > Drawing options > Custom settings > mode visibility > drawing > un-check the box that says show symbols as solid

 

To change it system wide, do the same thing but in system options > drawing options > Assign Colors > and un-check symbol paint.

2020 in my opinion has been very stable.

i am not sure why, but my plumbing symbol category seems to of gotten corrupted.  I reloaded and all is good.  Thanks everyone for the help.  Any new symbols that i create are still black and the symbol paint is unchecked.

Double check both places, on older drawings it won't use the new system setting if you changed it. It will still be set the old way.

 

Sometimes you have to check the settings at each drawing level, and for each mode as well.
