I have continued to try and use the annotated elevation in my projects, and have gotten it down to where I do like them and find them easier to do. Except for one thing, and it is a huge one. They look like crap when they print. Any diagonal line is all pixelated like it was printed on a 80's dot matrix printer. I don't get it because they look perfect on the screen. Support says to turn of the site polygons because I guess it can't handle that much information??? That does help some but still not perfect and you should not have to do that.

So does anyone else see this and is anyone reporting it? If we don't complain enough it will never get fixed.

I attached a couple of pictures of how it prints.

Are you printing from a plan set? I have found that (at least in my case) if you try to print outside of plan sets it will look bad.

It is from a plan set yes. I have never tried prining just the elevation not in a plan. Crazy thing is is asks if you want to print high resolution elevation, they definitely are not.

I don't know what to tell you. Maybe some of the more computer literate people will have an answer.

Have you submitted a ticket to support?

Have you tried changin the Anti Alias setting?
Open the elevation view and before you switch to Annotated view, open Options / Mode Options / Render and set it to 10
You may need to adjust your line thickness after that.

I just tried a bunch of different Anti Alias settings and it has no effects, actually seemed to make it worse. I tried turning off all unneeded extractions and that did nothing either. The only thing that seems to fix it is to turn off the extraction of site polygons, which I don't want to do.

Here is a picture comparison of with and with out the site polygons, slight sawtoothing in the diagonal lines but it is pretty good. All of the lines: openings, railing, roof edges, ect get messed up when you extract the site polgons.
