Try Arriscraft ... They have a huge library that you can download.

Bobby, will this work? I think I got it from the old Splash forum.

There are already a good number of Stone paints in Softplan that look like that. I think ... maybe I already put them there ...

Try SOFTPLAN > PAINT > MANUFACTURER

I also have some Owens Corning Stone patterns ... Again, not sure where I got them (or whether they are standard), but they must have come from somewhere.

Make an OWENS CORNING directory under paint, and unzip this file there, and see if there's anything suitable.

Rick, not sure what you did with that, but it doesn't look to work too well ... you've got obvious seams!

Thanks Everybody.

There are plenty of images in Softplan which look good.

If I were doing modeling they would be great.

The lines with images don't stand out very well in 2d elevation views and you don't get the separation effect like you do with patterns.

The image I posted is a black and white from 3d warehouse.

The pattern looks good but I don't know how to apply it in Softplan.

I guess using inconsistent lines like that it has to be an image instead of a pattern.

Keith, it has to do with the size of the box it's in. I admit the repeat on it isn't very good. I never noticed it, cause I haven't done a large wall area. Like I said I think I downloaded it from the old Splash Site years ago. If you look at the one that I did with one of yours it has the same issue in a large area. I resized one of yours and mine trying to get as close as I could to the repeat. The Zip has the 2 resized in 2020 not 2018.

Interesting ... I've never seen that happen before. I've never had to resize any paint.

Bobby ... Don't look at the paint IMAGES, you need to focus on the paint LINES.

The OWENS CORNING zip file I posted is ONLY paint lines, there should be something there to suit you.

Have you tried the PAINT > BRICK AND BLOCK > ASHLAR paint

Attached File  2020.02.17_10h29m16s_001_.png   11.91KB   0 downloads

I've just been looking under PAINT > MANUFACTURER, I have BORAL - CULTURED STONE, CORONADO and CULTURED STONE

A total of 119 stone texture LINE paints ... I suspect I have a few duplicates, but there must be something under there that will work for you.

Since some of these may be Softplan plus items, I'm not comfortable sharing them, but there should be something under LINE PAINT that works for you.

How do you resize paint patterns?

Henry, I looked in help under Paint Definition Template. You have to explode the paint you're trying to adjust. If you only use the Stone paint for a Stone Column Base or a wall with a lot of openings you'll probably never notice that the pattern doesn't line up. The screenshot has a box pretty close to the pattern.

Thanks Keith,

I don't have manufacturer under paint.

I have it under image under paint which are like photos.

I have ashlar and field stone under paint.

I like the pattern I have from 3d warehouse which is also called ashlar but as you can see doesn't look anything like Softplan's.

When I open it in sketchup it measures 6'x6'.

When you copy and paste beside itself it matches up fair.

If I could figure out how to get it into softplan paint it would probably work.

I tried the zip files you sent

and could not get them to show from the paint menu.

When I click on the file they unzip. I then made a folder under paint in Softplan and copied all files to that folder. They are all there as spy files.

I am running Win7 with Softplan 2018.

Keith,

I had to put the files in the brick and block folder as individual files to make them work.

That's more than enough than I'll ever need.

Thanks
