Is anyone having issues with openings..  

 

I have say a front door with half glass and 2 panels at the bottom.    It is not showing up the panels.

 

Also I have issues with garage doors as well.  

 

Never had this issue until the last patch

There's been recent discussion on the doors that link to a DWG model not being adjustable with regard to grills. Not sure if you are experiencing something like that or the link is broken. Or? In SoftView do you have actual openings or enchanced openings selected in extraction options?

I've been having this issue since 2020 was introduced, and the ENHANCED door option was changed. As usual, Softplan technical support have passed it on to development for review - we never seem to hear anything about these types of issues, it's almost as if once they are sent to development that they are either ignored or completely forgotten. We've had a couple of patches since I reported it, and no-one seems to have any idea what's happening about it.

 

Anyway ... back to the storyline ...

 

As far as I can ascertain, it seems to be that some of the detail on the enhanced door opening seems to be linked to the grilles as Mark suggests. My original workaround was to turn on the grilles in the relevant component, and then in the 3D model (and the generated elevations), turn off the display of the glazing style in the material editor.

 

Another workround - which I have discovered recently - and is even simpler - is to turn on the grilles in the relevant component and adjust them to 0 x 0.

 

But either way, it's definitely related to the grilles ... not sure why Softplan Development can't fix that, it's obviously something new.

Please create a ticket that has both the door and garage door issue so that we can take a closer look at what you are experiencing.

You said that you never had this issue until the last patch.

 

I searched all of your keys and found 4 tickets since the last patch that may or may not be related to the opening issue you raised. If I have missed some, please let me know the ticket numbers or which key number(s) they were submitted under.
