Can we turn off dimensioning of banding on the exterior of a home, like we can with shelving on the inside? If I put a band board around the exterior of a house Softplan wants to dimension the band board. I want it to dimension to the sheathing not the band board.

Yes please. In the meantime, put the banding on a different layer and you will be able to dimension as you normally would.

Yes please ! It is easy to miss the dimension error when you have a wall, a porch / deck and the band board all close together.
