Hello Everyone.  New to this software and first time writing in the forum.  Little intimidating being in the forum as there appears to be so much knowledge here. So here goes. I used another software for many, many years, but I felt that it was lacking a bit. Been trying my dangest to get this figured out. I created a door using one that was already in the "elevation open library".  Expoled  erased what I didn't want and then put glazing in from draw>details>opening shapes>door>door glazing.  Mirrored the drawing then went through the process of putting both leafs (individually) into the elevations openings. Then I went through the process of putting them into the system options library adding the door to each other to make a double door. When I put it into the wall the glazing is there, but nowhere to find the door leafs. You see right through the door looking at the sub-floor.  Tried for several hours different ways and just can't get it. I know I must be missing something big learning curve.

Thanks John

have a look here ... http://softplan.com/...ening-tutorial/ ... this is for a garage door, but the standard doors work on exactly the same principle.

You create the ELEVATION OPENING and then create the plan OPENING. I suspect that you didn't put a frame in. I've never specifically added a leaf. It seems to work just fine without it.

John, are you trying to build a door similar to my attachment? Bill at SoftPlanTuts showed me how to make it with the existing Elevation Openings in Softplan.
