With all the turmoil with this corona virus, I ma now required to work at home and want to avoid face to face meetings. Picked up a Logitech 920s webcam and am now wondering what software  /app is best suited for face to face using the webcam as well as sharing my computer screen with clients.  A few that I have looked into are:

• Skype
• Go to meeting
• Google hangouts
• Zoom

Anyone have any experience with any of these applications or any other apps that would work for video conferencing.

We use go-to meeting. screen sharing is nice.

 

I've used zoom before, didn't really care for it compared to go-to meeting, but it was free to use. Didn't try to do any screen sharing with it though so not sure how that works.

I have a GoToMeeting account, use it all the time.

I use GoTo meeting everyday with our other designer.  I work from my home which is 3 hours away from the office and it works great.  Screen sharing is great, being able to take control of his computer to show him something as needed is also a big help.

I also Zoom and I have tried Google Hangouts.  Hangouts was ok, but not great, for what we were trying to do.  Zoom, from what I have seen, is every bit as developed and feature packed as GoTo Meeting.  Screen Sharing works well, no issues so far.

I am using Zoom and like it; - works well for screen sharing.

Thanks for all the advice. I have downloaded and am evaluating  the Zoom app. Seems like it works well enough. Time will tell.
