Does anyone know how to get rid of keynotes on the schedule after they have been erased on the plan?

Mine don't seem to vanish like they should.

I have tried to regenerate but they are still there.

I even erased the schedule & inserted a new one and they still are there!

You can click on edit Schedule and delete the row or column. It won't be live anymore. You can also try and exit out of SoftPlan and open it back up and see if that helps.

Can't you just use regenerate.

Apologies. didn't read the original post properly ... obviously!

I ran into that also.  Make sure that you are erasing all instances of the keynote.  It might be on another drawing and will still populate the schedule even if not in the model stack.  Or, it could be on a different drawing mode.

If you're still seeing the issue, please create a ticket for us to look at. Thanks Rick.

Brent,

I went to put in a support ticket & the window opens but is blank.

I tried multiple times.

Is this the result of the last upgrade?

We are still getting plenty of tickets daily so I don't suspect it is an upgrade issue.

If you continue to have trouble please give support a call.

Support told me the keynotes a project wide.

I really wish they only were controlled by the drawings in the model.

Anyway I removed them from the previous drawings, regenerated and the were gone.

Thanks Support! Very quick response.

I've requested early on that they be moved to the drawing level and not the project level.  I don't really care to see electrical notes on my foundation drawings!

Personally. I'd like to be able to start a project with set defaults, but once the a drawing is opened it should be completely autonomous the same as system/drawing defaults always was. It really bothers me to change an item, and find it's changed throughout the project.

Maybe I'm alone, but I'd like the project definitions to work at project level the same as system definitions worked at system level.

I was SO EXCITED to discover Keynotes when I upgraded to 2020+, but then went on the wild search to figure out how to keep the keynote schedule listing only drawing level schedules.

So it sounds like the keynote schedule generates all of the notes from the project, and that there is not the radio button to generate from Model, or Current drawing (just like opening schedules).

Does this sound like SP knows how to do it, but had some reason as to why they didn't do it?

Has anyone gone to training where they explain how Keynotes were intended to be applied? what solution does it offer?

As Tom Stockton shared above, I do not want demolition plan keynotes on my floor plan, elevation plan or any other plan.

So is it back to manual keying of notes to schedule for me? <sigh>
