Good morning,

 

I am very new ot this and trying hard to figure this out with a personal design but struggling now. 

 

1. one section of my building has no fascia (you can see into roof assembly)

2. I need to write notes for the cross section but for some reason on my cross section, the notes tab no longer appears. In the tutorial it was already there, as well as the extension lines which I do not have.

3. Import to create site plan, I need to have a site plan to show positioning of the house on lot etc. How do I get that information in?

can you post a pic to show the view in your item #1

 

#2 do you have annotated mode selected?

 

#3 go to your main floor or basement and switch to site mode, draw property line, enter surveyor coordinates. Search YouTube for help with site plans

When creating a Site Plan if you use the steps from the link below you won't have to rotate you building, This will work no matter which way your building is orientated on the screen. The site also has some other tutorials that you might be interested in.
